Windows 11 & Server 2025: Migration & Operations
DEVACON plans the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and from older server versions to Windows Server 2025, sets up devices and servers and operates them under a maintenance contract on request. Windows 10 has not received regular security updates since October 2025.
- Licensing advice: the right edition, client access licences and rights already included with Microsoft 365
- Migration to Windows 11: hardware check, rollout in waves via Intune and Windows Autopilot or by image, carrying over applications and data
- Windows Server 2025 as a fresh installation or upgrade from Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022: Active Directory, file and print services, Hyper-V and Remote Desktop
- Hardening: secure baseline configuration, encryption, policies, roles and permissions
- Hybrid integration with Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure
The changeover follows an inventory and a pilot and runs in waves while operations continue. Whether your business application is approved for Windows Server 2025 is clarified with the application vendor and in the pilot before the migration. You obtain the licences for Windows 11, Windows Server and the client access licences through DEVACON.
