Juniper EX5200 Ethernet Switch
According to HPE, the EX5200 series is designed for access in enterprise campus and branch networks that require high-density multigigabit connectivity, advanced security and cloud management. The manufacturer lists Wi-Fi 7 access points, smart buildings and large campus sites as use cases.
All four models are 1 U and offer 24 or 48 ports from 100 Mbps to 10GbE. PoE models provide IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ with up to 90 W per port and a PoE budget of up to 3500 W (EX5200-48MP). Two 100GbE ports serve as Virtual Chassis connections or uplinks, and up to ten switches are managed as a single device. A module slot takes 8 × 25GbE or 2 × 100GbE. Further features include MACsec with AES256 on all ports, EVPN-VXLAN, group-based policy (GBP), redundant power supplies and fans and cloud management with Mist Wired Assurance.
