Juniper EX4100-H Ethernet Switch
According to Juniper, the ruggedized EX4100-H series is designed for harsh indoor and outdoor environments with extended temperatures, physical impact and vibration. The manufacturer lists EV charging stations, petrol stations, industrial automation and manufacturing, remote surveillance and transportation as use cases.
The switches are fanless, IP30 compliant and, depending on model and installation, specified for operating temperatures from -40 °C to +75 °C. Two power supplies (AC, DC or mixed) provide redundancy. PoE models deliver PoE++ with up to 90 W per port. Up to ten switches can be managed as a Virtual Chassis. According to Juniper, the series offers feature parity with the EX4100, including EVPN-VXLAN, MACsec with AES256, group-based microsegmentation, dry-contact alarms and cloud management with Mist Wired Assurance.

Switching capacity bidirectional, 64-byte packets. Half of the 10GbE ports serve as Virtual Chassis ports and can be reconfigured as uplinks. EX4100-H-12T and -12MP use external power supplies, EX4100-H-24MP and -24F internal hot-swappable power supplies. Models 12MP, 24MP and 24F are also available as DC variants (-DC).
