HPE Aruba Networking Instant On 1830 & 1840 Switches
According to HPE, the HPE Networking Instant On 1830 and 1840 switch series are smart-managed Layer 2 switches for small businesses. They are designed for networks without dedicated IT staff and are managed via the Instant On app, the cloud web portal or the local web UI, at no extra cost according to HPE.
Both series include 8, 24 and 48 Gigabit port models with and without Class 4 PoE. PoE models deliver 65 W to 370 W depending on version, and the larger models have 1G SFP uplinks. Selected 8-port models are fanless or can be powered via PoE (PD). The 1840 series additionally offers TPM 2.0 and, according to HPE, a limited lifetime warranty.
